Once you've chosen the date and time of your wedding or re-dedication ceremony, it's time to coordinate details for your perfect stress-free event with Elope Mendocino. Usually the first step is the ceremony itself, the words that are spoken to consecrate it. As your officiate, I'm happy to read loving vows you have personally written or I can provide you with sample vows which you may use as is or edit to your liking.

If you need ideas about where you want to hold your ceremony then definitely see Elope Mendocino's Photo Gallery. From it you can choose a ceremony site you feel suits your desires the best. If you prefer, I can meet with you when you arrive in Mendocino for a quick tour of possible locations. Just let me know and I'm sure we can find it. There are redwood groves, beaches, a lighthouse as well as many halls and chapels nearby. Do keep in mind that outside ceremonies can be windy and chilly at sunset and especially during winter months.

Once you have arrived at your accommodations, waiting for you will be chilled Sparkling Wine or cider, lovely crystal champagne keepsake flutes, your special and sumptuous wedding cake and, if you choose, a bouquet of fresh flowers. An Elope Mendocino representative will contact you the day of your arrival to answer any additional questions you may have and confirm times and your itinerary.

If you are choosing your own accommodations and have somewhere special in mind, please be sure to reserve immediately to guarantee availability. The north coast has many events happening throughout the year and quality lodging is booked quickly. The same can be true for vacation rental houses on the cliffs or at the beach. Details about your cake and flowers need to be known well in advance of your special event to ensure that they'll be ready and on schedule for you. I recommend at least two weeks notice as much as possible. Elope Mendocino's exclusive cake provider, Sharon Robinson of Mendo Cakes, will consult directly with you concerning your choice of cake design and flavors for your perfect confection. I will also put you in touch with Elope Mendocino's exclusive floral provider, Rosa of L R Farm to coordinate with you on color schemes and choices of flowers.

Twenty minutes prior to your ceremony, one of Elope Mendocino's professional photographers and I will meet you at the location you have chosen. Breathe easy! Photographs will be taken when you arrive as well as during and following the ceremony to fully capture the joy of your special moments. Three to four days after your ceremony you will receive your photographs on a CD. Elope Mendocino packages may be customized to your needs and dreams, and can be as simple or as elaborate as you choose. I will personally assist you with inquiries with your lodging reservations, coordinate private dinners, and help you plan fun and exciting activities such as horseback riding on the beach, diving, kayaking, harbor cruises, wine tasting limousine tours, massages, spa treatments, and much more. All depending on your desires.

Elope Mendocino will take care of all this for you, including mailing your properly witnessed and completed marriage license to the County Registrar-Recorder’s Office. Don't forget to bring it and your rings with you!
